Dribling
Hal yang pertama adalah Anda harus belajar dribling, ini adalah teknik dasar membawa bola basket, jika Anda sudah mahir mendribling bola basket, sudah tentu Anda pandai membawa bola atau menjaga agar bolanya tidak direbut oleh lawan. ini adalah hal yang paling mendasar pada saat Anda belajar basket.
Passing
Teknik yang berikutnya adalah teknik passing, dimana teknik ini mengandalkan kekuatan tangan untuk mengoper bola kepada teman sepermainan Anda pada saat Anda bermain basket, dalam teknik passing terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian yaitu :

• Chest pass
  dalam passing ada teknik oper yaitu chest pass, teknik ini adalah teknik operan yang dilakukan di depan dada.

• Bounce pass
  Teknik ini digunakan pada sasaran yang melakukan backdoor cut dan pada saat pemain di trap sehingga kesulitan untuk mencari passing line.

• Overhead pass
  Biasanya teknik ini sangat efektif untuk tim defender

• Baseball pass.
  Teknik yang dilakukan untuk melakukan passing jarak jauh

Shoot
Teknik yang terakhir belajar basket adalah shoot hal ini penting pada pemain basket karna nantinya Anda mungkin bisa menjadi seorang point guard atau shooting guard, jadi berlatihlah untuk shooting bola basket ring.
Itu lah beberapa teknik belajar basket tingkat dasar, berlatilah secara rutin dan Anda akan mendapatkan asil yang maksimal.
